I have always loved to sing and make music. As a child I would do mini-concerts with my cousins on the coffee table at family gatherings, sing in the folk group at church and in chorus from fifth grade through to my high school graduation. At the age of 15, I began private vocal study with Lise Messier and Nan Nall. I performed in musicals, variety shows, and won a few competitions and scholarships.
I attended the New England Conservatory, where I studied with Helen Hodam. I finished my B.A. and M.A. at Smith College, with voice teacher Jane Bryden, studying vocal performance and pedagogy. My passion for all things singing is still growing and evolving. I am a lifelong learner.
